1)Today we revisited our plot and opening sequence explaining them to Khalil which was useful as it made the idea clearer and also got Khalil's approval. We also started to write up exactly what happens in our opening sequence in every shot.

3)We all fully understand our plot and opening sequence which is great! Also it has been approved by our media studies teacher.
1)Again Khalil was ill today. We finished our mood board which was successful, this has helped to inspire us

1)Khalil was ill today and therefore it was only just Gabriel and I. Today we developed our opening sequence as our feedback was to develop it. We then started our mood board which included inspiration from Tv shows, serial killers, murder and death.

3 Something that went well was the theme which made our piece unique, that we are following the killer making us empathise with the killer instead.
What didn't go so well was that our idea was feedback to be more about a trailer than opening sequence as it gave away too much and didn't build enough tension or suspense.
1) Today we finalized the plot of our Thriller. It took us a long time to simplify as we kept adding in unimportant details which made it too long.
We also agreed that Gabe should pitch our idea tomorrow as firstly it was his idea so he has the clearest understanding of it and he is also the most confident speaker in our group. We also agreed that I should be the person to write down the feedback as I'm a quick writer.

3)Today whilst looking over our storyboard we found a problem, this was that it was going to be too short as an opening sequence, we therefore as a group brainstormed ways to commit a murder and how we could portray this in our opening sequence.

1) Today was the unofficial shooting of the Thriller known as the wrecky shoot. As a group we moved through the shots quickly and efficiently, we concluded from our meeting that our decided location for the shoot was good as we were able to get because it was easy for khalil to drag Scarlett across the sand covered astro turf. Also there were spots where Gabe, the camera operator could get up high to take the high angle long shot. There was also two large double doors which khalil could slam, this is an important shot to have.
2) Targets:
To film in the same format through a shoot (the first two shots are in portrait format, the rest in landscape)
To make notes when having a minute meeting
To creatively build upon our idea to make the final product more dynamic and unique.
3) What went well/ not well:
The first two shots of the thriller are in portrait format, not landscape. We were pushed for time so this technical error could not be corrected. This was not good. We cooperated well as a group to get the shots we needed, rehearsing the shots before hand allowed us to quickly get the shots without having to retake them to many times.
1) Today we discussed the idea as a group, finished our story board and location sheet and decided exactly how we could film our "wrecky shoot", we decided to use Khalil and Scarlett as actors in the shoot, and Gabe would film.
2) Individual targets: To film the wrecky shoot within 45 minutes so that we could have time to refelct on the shot and evaluate our performances,
to edit and post the wrecky shoot on our blogs, And to increase the length of the opening sequence
3) What went well: We debated in our group the different ways we could execute the opening sequence, this was effective as we used all of our knowledge to come up with the best we could. This was a good step in the process as ou communication skills have increased. We have furthered our preparation for the Wrecky shoot.
1) Today we discussed and modified our plot. Making it more developed by starting to talk about camera angles which would need to be used.
We also discussed our location for our wreckage shoot which is the sporting field opposite the pavilion as it is in the outside, it also has lots of space to film around it.

Scarlett: To bring in spare clothes on Thursday for filming

To finish our storyboard tomorrow because we are filming our wreckage shoot on Thursday so it must be complete before then.

3) What went well: We cooperated and communicated well to develop the plot of our opening sequence.

1) Today we were able to confirm another of our actors, so we are only awaiting confirmation of one more actor and we will have a full cast. We also were able to share the scene outline so we all have a copy of it. Finally we worked out costume and resolved the bullet problem, to cut the bullets out and play with the other gun components.
2)Targets: To make sure everything is ready for monday. Props/ costume
3)Today we worked well, as we quickly assigned people jobs and then worked well independently to get the work done quickly.
1) Today we met as a group twice, this was because we found out the date we will be filming our thriller - THE UPCOMING MONDAY! Therefore we knew we really needed to knuckle down. So today we achieved the target from yesterday - finishing our scene outline. We also discussed and decided that Khalil would be the camera operator and Gabriel would be the director. However we encountered new problems after finding out our filming date, all of our first choice actors could now not do this date also two of our three back ups couldn't either so presently we have one actor.
2) Targets: To get two actors to confirm to do the shoot on Monday - ASAP
Also to see if we can find realistic looking fake bullets for props as we also do not have any of those, or to readjust the scene outline.
3) We worked really well today, getting lots done and quickly working together with everybody communicating and getting involved.
1) Today we continued with our scene outline, adding in camera shots, camera movement and timings. However we realized that it is too short and we need to add more angles and movement to stop it getting too boring but also to make it long enough.
2) Targets: To finish our scene outline tomorrow in our free time.
To check what props and costumes we have and also what we will need to buy.
3 Today didn't feel as productive as yesterday and to improve this we need to work harder, and come to meetings prepared with new ideas to fasten up the process and therefore get more things done.
1)Today was our first meet up as a full group in over three weeks due to the Christmas holidays, we therefore had to refresh our brains. We were able to confirm our actors today also with a back up for each character. We also found a new location to film it after meeting with our teachers - Peaslake House.
2)Targets: To complete our scene outline and have a thorough outline complete with the exact shots and timings.
3)Today was successful as we came back with fresh ideas and also it helped to refresh our brains with our idea. It was good to have a break as we now all have more motivation since it is the new year.
1)Today we developed our idea and storyboard in two separate ways of filming after our feedback from our developed idea and storyboard.
2)Targets: To pick which idea will be better to film, either solely filming the thriller through the scope of a sniper, or filming segments of the sequence through the rifle scope and the rest with close ups of the running feet, the facial expressions of the runners and also close ups of the sniper. As a group we are leaning towards the second idea as we feel it would be much more dynamic and interesting to watch.
3) We made a lot of progress today, The whole group worked cooperatively to develop our idea using the feedback we received regarding our primary idea.
1) Today was a time to tie up all the lose ends. We were able to see our finished storyboard and agree the estimated time periods for each one. We also made our character outlines and found three different people we thought would be good for the roles so that we had backups in case someone couldn't or didn't want to take part.
2)Targets, to keep working at the same speed and speak to the candidates for our thriller.
3)What went well, the lead role was found and also she agreed to be in it!
